Our Dehradun campus isn't only for Dehradun. Here's who's actually in the room, and how they get here.
| TOWN | DISTANCE | HOW STUDENTS USUALLY ATTEND |
|---|---|---|
| Doiwala | 18–20 km | Daily commute |
| Vikasnagar / Herbertpur | 30–40 km | Daily commute |
| Mussoorie | ~34 km | Weekend batch, or relocation for the course |
| Rishikesh | 43–45 km | Daily or evening batch |
| Haridwar | 50–54 km | Daily via train or bus, or evening batch |
| Roorkee | 65–68 km | Weekend-intensive batch |
| Saharanpur | 90–95 km | Weekend-intensive batch |
| Bijnor | ~105 km | Weekend-intensive batch, via Haridwar |
A large share of every batch travels in from outside the city. We regularly have students from Haridwar and Rishikesh joining evening sessions after work or college, students from Bijnor and Saharanpur who build their week around our weekend-intensive schedule, and a steady group from Roorkee and Vikasnagar who treat the commute as routine. If you're weighing whether the travel is worth it — you'd be joining people who already decided it is. Tell us where you're coming from and we'll help you pick a batch timing that fits the journey.
One of the more recognisable parts of the city — easy to reach once you're close.
Dehradun Railway Station connects to Haridwar, Roorkee and Delhi. From the station it's a short auto ride to Parade Ground.
UTC and private buses from Haridwar, Rishikesh, Roorkee and Saharanpur run into Dehradun ISBT, then a local auto or cab to Race Course.
Ola, Uber and shared taxi stands connect ISBT and the railway station to Race Course in roughly 15–20 minutes.
New to the city? Ask any auto or cab driver for "Parade Ground" or "Race Course" — both are well-known local landmarks, and you'll get here even if the driver hasn't heard of DTA by name.
Not every student commutes. Many from Roorkee, Saharanpur and Bijnor choose to stay in Dehradun for the length of the course rather than travelling daily. If you're relocating, our team helps you find PG and accommodation near the campus, so you're not working out a new city alone.
Where it's wanted, and with the student's consent, we also stay in touch with parents — sharing attendance and participation updates. It's a small thing, but for a student living away from home, and for a parent back in Roorkee or Bijnor, that regular update tends to make the decision to move feel a lot less risky.
Some students travel from much further — Bangalore among them — basing themselves in Dehradun for the full three or six months of their program. For many it becomes two things at once: focused in-person training during the week, and a few months in a city with a noticeably slower pace, closer to the hills than any metro.
Students from Mussoorie and Saharanpur have done something similar, using weekends during the course to explore Dehradun and the hill towns around it rather than attending class and heading straight home.
A number of past students have taken it further after finishing here — starting their own Instagram pages to share trading setups, and going on to teach trading themselves after beginning as our students.
Good teaching is only half of it. The other half is making sure you're in the right course to begin with — and that's a conversation, not a payment link.
Most people who enquire about trading courses aren't sure what they actually need. Some ask for the advanced SMC course when they've never read a candlestick chart. Some are ready for it and don't know that either.
Our counsellors exist to sort that out honestly. Before anything is recommended, they'll ask what you already know, how much time you can give per week, whether you're travelling in from Haridwar or relocating from further away, and what you're actually hoping to get out of it.
If a cheaper or shorter course fits you better, that's what you'll be told. If now isn't the right time, they'll say that too.
A counsellor calls you back to understand your background, your goals, and your constraints — not to close a sale on the first call.
Your current knowledge level, available hours, and travel situation decide which program makes sense. Beginners aren't pushed into advanced courses.
You're pointed to the single course that fits — with a clear reason why, and what it won't cover.
Before enrollment is confirmed, an expert trainer validates that the recommended course actually matches your level.
Attend a real session — online or at the Dehradun campus — and judge the teaching for yourself.
After the demo we follow up on what you thought. If it wasn't right, we'd rather know then than three weeks in.
Walk into Race Course, meet the trainers, sit in the trading café. Especially worth doing if you're relocating for the course.
Batch timing is chosen around your commute or relocation, not the other way around.
The same person who counselled you stays your point of contact through the course — for batch changes, doubts, or accommodation help.
This process is the reason over 95% of our learners finish what they start. Very few students drop out of a course they were correctly placed in to begin with — and that placement is the counsellor's job, done before a single rupee changes hands.

Many of our current students first heard about DTA from a friend or classmate who trained here — word of mouth from Roorkee, Haridwar and Rishikesh alumni is one of our biggest sources of new admissions.
With the help of DTA and their mentor, I gained a better understanding of the financial market. I would highly recommend this to my friends and especially to my family.
Jab join kiya tha mujhe kuch pata nahi tha — now I know how to follow charts.
I generally don't write reviews, but here I learned everything properly — from understanding the market to SMC, liquidity and more. These things I couldn't find anywhere else.
Best coaching institute for share market. Teachers sabhi professional hain — specially Ankur sir and Deepak sir, har student par attention dete hain. Highly appreciated.
I joined Doon Trading Academy in July–August, and this has been the best period of my life since deciding to take a stock market course here. They do what they say.
Quality knowledge, good staff, good facilities, a family-like environment and great mentors. A superb experience with Doon Trading Academy.
Trading café mein mentors ke saath baith kar trading seekhna bahut unique hai. Instant feedback mil jata hai, jo kaafi helpful hai.
A balanced guiding of theoretical and practical market knowledge, by brilliant teachers.
Yahan aa ke aap market ko risk nahi, ek earning ka source samjhenge. Teachers aur staff kaafi helpful hain. Best experience.

Not yet — all offline classes for this region run from our Dehradun campus. Many students already commute from these cities, and we offer batch timings built around common travel schedules. If you'd rather not travel, our . online batches give you the same classes and mentorship remotely.
Bus or train into Dehradun, then a short auto ride to Parade Ground / Race Course. The "Getting Here" section above has the full breakdown, plus a direct Google Maps link.
Yes. Many students from further towns relocate for the course duration. We help guide you toward PG and accommodation options near the campus.
Only if you want that, and only with your consent. Where it's wanted, we keep parents informed on attendance and participation as an extra layer of accountability.
We can't promise outcomes — trading carries real risk of capital loss, and results depend on your own effort and market experience. What we can say is that several past students have gone on to share trading knowledge publicly after completing their course here.
